Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern all services provided by The Golden Wrench Mobile (“The Golden Wrench,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By requesting, scheduling, approving, or receiving services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

The Golden Wrench provides mobile mechanic services, vehicle diagnostics, maintenance services, and roadside assistance throughout our service area.

Estimates and Pricing

All estimates are based on information available at the time of inspection or customer-provided information.

Estimates are valid for thirty (30) days unless otherwise noted.

Vehicle repairs may reveal additional issues not visible during the initial inspection. If additional repairs or parts are required, The Golden Wrench will provide an updated estimate for customer approval before proceeding whenever reasonably possible.

Pricing may change due to:

  • Additional Diagnostics
  • Hidden vehicle damage
  • Additional labor requirements
  • Parts availability
  • Manufacturer price increases

Appointment Scheduling

Appointments are scheduled based on technician availability.

Appointment times are estimated and may be affected by:

  • Traffic
  • Weather
  • Previous service delays
  • Parts availability
  • Emergency roadside calls
  • Unforeseen circumstances

Roadside Assistance Services

Roadside assistance services may include

  • Jump starts
  • Battery testing
  • Battery replacement
  • Flat tire assistance
  • Lockout assistance
  • Fuel delivery
  • Minor roadside diagnostics

Customer Authorization

Approval of an estimate, invoice, service request, or work order authorizes The Golden Wrench to perform the agreed-upon services.

Additional repairs outside the approved scope require customer authorization whenever reasonably possible

Customer – Supplied Parts

Customers may choose to supply their own parts.

The Golden Wrench is not responsible for:

  • Incorrect parts
  • Defective parts
  • Delays caused by pars availability
  • Additional labor required due to incorrect parts

No labor or workmanship warranty is provided for failures caused by customer-supplied parts.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The Golden Wrench accepts:

  • Major credit cards
  • Debit cards
  • Electronic payments
  • Other approved payment methods

For certain services, deposits may be required prior to scheduling.

Invoices not paid when due may be subject to collection efforts and additional fees permitted by law.

Card-on-File Authorization

By providing payment information, customers authorize The Golden Wrench to charge approved service amounts, deposits, cancellation fees, and completed work balances through our payment processing providers.

All payment processing is handled through secure third-party payment providers.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel appointments without penalty by providing at least twenty-four (24) hours notice.

Appointments canceled with less than twenty-four (24) hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

If a technician has already been dispatched, a trip charge may apply.

Diagnostics Disclaimer

Diagnostic services identify the most likely cause of a vehicle concern based on information available at the time of inspection.

Additional issues may be discovered during repair.

The Golden Wrench does not guarantee that an initial diagnosis will identify every existing vehicle issue.

Warranty

Labor performed by The Golden Wrench is warranted for thirty (30) days from the date of service unless otherwise stated.

Parts are covered solely by the manufacturer’s warranty.

Warranty coverage does not apply to:

  • Customer – supplied parts
  • Abuse or misuse
  • Accident damage
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Related failures outside the scope of the original repair

Limitation of Liability

The Golden Wrench shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from vehicle failures, delays, loss of use, loss of income, towing expenses, rental vehicle expenses, or other damages not directly caused by our negligence.

Our liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Safety and Work Environment

Customers are responsible for providing a reasonably safe and accessible work location.

Technicians may refuse or stop work if:

  • Conditions are unsafe
  • The vehicle location presents hazards
  • Required access is unavailable
  • Weather conditions create safety concerns

Website and Online Requests

Information provided on our website is for general informational purposes only.

Submitting a service request does not guarantee appointment availability.

Prices displayed online may be subject to change without notice.

Privacy

Customer information is collected solely for scheduling, communication, service delivery, payment processing, and customer support.

Payment information is processed through secure third-party payment providers. The Golden Wrench does not store complete credit card information.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.
